Long time, no blog

Time to blow the dust off this page and get it going again..... another day! For now, it's almost bedtime and this girl is tired. Looking forward to seeing what my blogger friends have been up too!

Late night post...

Been MIA lately.. I started having SEVERE tooth pain on the day of Riley's birthday party, I took some ibuprofen all weekend and then on Teusday (Monday was President's day and alot of places were closed), I talked to my dentist and they referred me to an oral surgeon. Meanwhile my husband was out of town on business and after talking to the oral surgeons office, they scheduled me for surgery on 2/23. My wonderful husband had to come home from his trip early to take me to my appt bc of the anesthesia, you have to have someone to drive. I was so happy to see that man come in the door Wednesday night before my surgery. We got up Thursday morning and headed to my appt. I don't remember alot of that day other than it seems I slept all day after getting home. I am still recovering and though I am ALOT better than I was GEEZ, that was the PITS!!!! I think I would rather have natural childbirth than teeth issues. WHEW! I am almost back to eating normal which I am thankful for. I ate more bean burritos in the last week than I care to mention. I don't really care if I EVER see another.

Last weekend, We had a large part of our house painted. I am so happy to get some color on these walls! Now if I could just get the paint smell out of my house. YUCK!

Emma is gearing up for softball and she has her first practice tomorrow. Brooke is in the GLEE club at her school and they are starting to learn their routine for their perforamance in May.

I am staying super busy with a full time job and Scentsy now but LOVING every minute of it. Right now, it is after midnight and I am waiting on Riley to go to sleep so I thought I would sit down and blog awhile. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week! I am going to try to get Riley down bc 6am is going to come REALLY SOON! :)

It's late and I'm blogging :)

Just checking in bloggy world. :). Busy week round here. Birthday shopping for Riley, checking into body shops so that I can get the automatic doors on my van fixed. One has slipped off track and will sometimes not shut period (which is normally when it's pouring down rain outside) Glee practice for my oldest, Scentsy party's for me this week and tomorrow we are heading to Chattanooga to see my husband's family for a birthday party for Riley. :). Can't believe my baby will be 2. :). I really don't want her to get any older. :(. She is so sweet right now. She says "thank you mommy" after you give her a snack or her "gabby", which is her blanket that has been thru me and her older 2 sisters. :). She makes everyone in this house smile on a daily basis.

I still have lots more to do this weekend like get Riley's summer clothes ready to go on eBay so that I can make room for new spring/summer outfits since spring is right around the corner. On that note, not sure how many of you are familiar with Strasburg children's clothing but if you are, you know what gorgeous outfits they have. I was so excited when I found out I was pregnant again bc I realized I would have one that I could force into those sweet smocked bishops since my oldest 2 had outgrown those clothes 5 or 6 years ago. Well get ready for this, they are going out of business. :-(. I'm super sad about that since I'll have to find another boutique brand that I love and Strasburg is hard to beat!

Ok this was a very random post of really nothIng but I wanted to check in. Off to watch more Infested on animal planet bc I am completely hooked on that show. If you haven't seen it, you have to check it out if you don't mind watching creepy crawlers on tv.

Talent show

Im back!

Wow! I know it seems like I fell off the face of the earth but I didn't.. I just got caught up in the holidays, good books and work..I have missed reading everyone's blogs and I will be catching up tonight!! Most of the time I read blogs on my ipad which isn't friendly with blogger sometimes so it has been hard to find the time to SIT at my desk and read or blog, but I am going to get back in the habit! I need this outlet and I have met some wonderful people in Bloggy world and I love reading all of their blogs!

Many things have been happening around. Christmas was wonderful. Riley was alot more fun this year because she was able to get into the whole present thing. The big girls had a great Christmas as well even though they are getting HARDER and HARDER to buy for.. Am I the only one who thinks that their toys get smaller but get more expensive????

I started selling Scentsy in January. I work a full time job and I sell Thirty One also but Scentsy has been something I have loved since I had my first party almost a year ago. I bought one warmer and I was HOOKED!! Now we have one in every room of the house, in the car and my hubby and I both have one at work! Find a rep in your area or you can email me for a catalog! I can tell you it is the BEST ever!!!

Brooke got into the GLEE club @ her school, which is great! She really wanted to make it and we are so happy she did! She also had her school talent show this week and I have a video of her, I'll post here when I can figure out how. She was VERY nervous but I am just SOOOOOOO proud she got up there and did it!

Lots of other things going on around here, which makes me one busy momma. I will be so glad when it's flip flop weather. I am ready for some relaxing and warmer temps! I hope you all are doing well! I am off to figure out how to get the video to post here!
